Amazon Basic Care Lidocaine Patches

Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is investigating potential claims against Amazon relating to Amazon’s Basic Care lidocaine patches that are advertised as “Maximum Strength.” Lidocaine is an anesthetic that prevents pain by blocking the signals at the nerve endings in the skin. Amazon’s Basic Care “Maximum Strength” lidocaine patches contain 4% lidocaine. However, despite being advertised as “Maximum Strength,” competing prescription lidocaine products contain 5% lidocaine. Amazon also represents that certain Basic Care lidocaine products provide up to 8 hours of relief. However, the products may fail to adhere to the body for up to 8 hours and therefore provide less relief than advertised.

If you purchased an Amazon Basic Care Lidocaine Patch advertised as “Maximum Strength” and wish to discuss your legal rights, please contact Mark Reich, Esq. (mreich@zlk.com) or Courtney Maccarone, Esq. (cmaccarone@zlk.com) of Levi & Korsinsky, LLP.
