Dental Care Alliance

Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is investigating potential claims against Dental Care Alliance, LLC in connection with a data breach that may have affected over one million people. In October 2020, Dental Care Alliance became aware of suspicious activity on its network and initiated an investigation into the incident.  The investigation determined that between September 18, 2020 and October 13, 2020, there had been unauthorized activity on its network and approximately one million patients’ confidential files had been accessed. Dental Care Alliance announced that the information that was potentially subject to unauthorized access includes names, addresses, dental diagnoses and treatment information, patient account numbers, billing information, and health insurance information. Dental Care Alliance is a dental support organization with more than 320 affiliated dental practices across 20 states. Its services include insurance billing, customer service, accounting and payroll, information technology management and operations.
