Prenatal Testing (NIPT) Investigation

Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is investigating potential claims against particular laboratories, including Sequenom and Natera, relating to the high percentages of flawed results from prenatal testing. According to media reports, a majority of positive NIPT results that purport to screen for rare conditions are incorrect. Expectant parents have, in turn, been faced with a false-positive result for their unborn child’s condition. Prenatal tests are marketed as able to detect chromosomal abnormalities in a fetus during pregnancy. The marketing of the tests, however, is silent as to the prevalence of false positives.

If you paid for a prenatal blood test and wish to discuss your legal rights, please contact Mark Reich, Esq. (mreich@zlk.com) or Courtney Maccarone, Esq. (cmaccarone@zlk.com) of Levi & Korsinsky, LLP.
