Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is investigating potential claims against the Procter & Gamble Company (“P&G”) relating to the presence of benzene in several of its body spray, dry shampoo, and dry conditioner products.
Benzene is a known human carcinogen that has been associated with blood cancers. Benzene is not an ingredient in body spray, dry shampoo, or dry conditioner products. On December 17, 2021, P&G issued a voluntary recall for aerosol dry shampoo and conditioner products from brands including Pantene, Aussie, Herbal Essences and Waterless, in addition to previously discontinued aerosol dry shampoo products from Old Spice and Hair Food, due to the presence of benzene. P&G also recently recalled several of its body spray products, including Old Spice and Secret aerosol products.
If you purchased Old Spice or Secret body spray products, or Pantene, Aussie, Herbal Essences, Waterless, Old Spice, or Hair Food dry shampoo/conditioner products, and wish to discuss your legal rights, please contact Mark Reich, Esq. (mreich@zlk.com) or Courtney Maccarone, Esq. (cmaccarone@zlk.com) of Levi & Korsinsky, LLP.
