Edison International Class Action Lawsuit - EIX

The filed complaint alleges that Edison International made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Edison’s claim that southern California Edison company used its public safety power shutoffs program to “proactively de-energize power lines to mitigate the risk of catastrophic wildfires during extreme weather events”, was false; (2) this resulted in heightened fire risk in California and heightened legal exposure to the Company; and (3) as a result, defendants’ statements about Edison’s business, operations, and prospects, were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all times.

In order to be eligible to join the EIX class action lawsuit, you must have incurred a loss on shares of Edison International purchased during the class period listed above.

If you suffered a loss in Edison International during the relevant time frame or pursuant to the relevant offering(s), you have until April 14, 2025 to request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff. Your ability to share in any recovery doesn't require that you serve as a lead plaintiff.
