The filed complaint alleges that The Chemours Company made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) certain of the Company’s senior executive officers manipulated Free Cash Flow targets as a means to maximize additional cash and stock incentive compensation applicable to executive officers pursuant to the Company’s annual incentive plans and long-term incentive plans; (2) the Company’s accounting practices and procedures, including its internal control over financial reporting, were deficient; and (3) as a result, defendants’ statements about the Company’s business, operations, and prospects lacked a reasonable basis.
In order to be eligible to join the CC class action lawsuit, you must have incurred a loss on shares of The Chemours Company purchased during the class period listed above.
If you suffered a loss in The Chemours Company during the relevant time frame or pursuant to the relevant offering(s), you have until May 20, 2024 to request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff. Your ability to share in any recovery doesn't require that you serve as a lead plaintiff.
