The filed complaint alleges that Tvardi Therapeutics, Inc. made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: On October 13, 2025, Tvardi reported data from its Phase 2 REVERT study testing its STAT3 inhibitor drug, TTI-101, to treat patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). The company reported that “the study did not meet its goals,” as the “[p]reliminary analysis of exploratory efficacy showed no statistically significant differences between placebo and treatment arms.” Management also highlighted significant discontinuation rates of more than 56% in both treatment arms compared to only 10.3% in the placebo group. Following this news, Tvardi’s stock price fell by $34.91 per share to close at $6.69 per share.
