The complaint alleges that defendants made false and misleading statements and failed to disclose that the Company was in violation of federal regulations by engaging in improper marketing and sales practices. On December 31, 2014, MiMedx announced the receipt of a civil subpoena from the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in connection with an investigation of the Company’s sales and marketing activities.
