We Give Shareholders a Voice
Levi & Korsinsky, LLP announces the commencement of a class action lawsuit in the USDC for the Eastern District of Texas on behalf of shareholders of Rent-A-Center, Inc. (“Rent-A-Center” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: RCII) who purchased shares between July 27, 2015 and October 10, 2016.
The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Defendants failed to disclose that: (1) Rent-A-Center was unable to effectively install its new point of sale system (“POS”); (2) the POS was not performing as expected, including several system outrages; (3) as a result, the Company’s Acceptance Now credit system could not be installed effectively; (4) the Company was unable to meet revenue and profitability guidance provided to shareholders; and (5) as such, the Company would need to review its prior guidance.
If you suffered a loss in Rent-A-Center you have until February 27, 2017 to request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff. Your ability to share in any recovery doesn’t require that you serve as a lead plaintiff.
