Levi & Korsinsky, LLP Appointed Lead Counsel in Tesla Securities Litigation

On November 27, 2018, Levi & Korsinsky was selected by U.S. District Judge Edward M. Chen to represent the class in In re Tesla Inc. Sec. Litig., 3:18-cv-04865, in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. The class action litigation seeks to hold Tesla and Elon Musk accountable for two allegedly false August 2018 tweets that sent the Company’s stock price into a frenzy after Elon Musk tweeted on Aug. 7, 2018 that Tesla had secured funding to take the company private at $420 per share. The class includes all Tesla investors who suffered losses as a result of the tweet, including purchasers and sellers of stock, options, and other securities.
