Qualys is the subject of a report published by the Investors Business Daily on February 5, 2024. According to the report, a Morgan Stanley anlyst report stated, "Microsoft recently announced plans to end its partnership with Qualys as the default provider of vulnerability scanning within Microsoft Defender, effective May 1. With Microsoft being one of Qualys' largest customers and partners, we see top-line risks as potentially material." Following this news, shares of Qualys dropped on the same day.
