Csquare, Inc. Investigation Details
Csquare Inc. shareholders lost money on October 22, 2026 when the stock fell sharply after Dalrymple Finance published a short report alleging that the Company operates an unsustainable, debt-laden business model facing looming cash shortfalls. In an SEC Form 10-Q filing on August 10, 2026, the Company reported remaining 2026 debt principal payments as zero, despite a $771 million revolving credit facility maturing in December 2026. The same filing reported $356.0 million of available liquidity as of June 30, 2026, but included $209.5 million in trustee-controlled restricted cash unavailable for general corporate use. Additionally, the filing stated that the business generates strong cash flows from operations, even though operating cash flow had fallen 49% from $65.5 million to $33.6 million and six-month interest expense reached $181.2 million. In a May 20, 2026 filing, the Company had previously stated that its growth strategy is designed to be largely self-funded, despite 2025 financing inflows of $988.4 million dwarfing its $172.0 million in operating cash flow. The investigation concerns whether Csquare Inc. adequately disclosed its near-term debt obligations, restricted cash limitations, and cash flow constraints ahead of the October 22, 2026 short report.
