Klarna Group plc Investigation Details

Klarna Group plc shares opened down $3.85 (19.73%) on August 18, 2026, after the company lowered its GMV projections from over $155 billion to between $149 and $150 billion and further lowered full-year 2026 revenue guidance to between $4.08 billion and $4.16 billion, missing the analyst consensus of $4.42 billion. Although the company beat Q2 expectations with $1.04 billion in revenue and a $9 million profit, investors were discouraged by the weaker forward outlook. Management predominately attributed the reduced guidance to $600 million in foreign-exchange headwinds and "a more measured view of primarily German volumes."
