Allegations

The filed complaint alleges that GWG Holdings, Inc. made materially false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (i) Defendants intended to, and did, misappropriate GWG assets, (ii) GWG’s life insurance investment business had failed, and (iii) GWG could only repay prior investors by issuing increasing amounts of securities to new investors. In essence, Defendants had turned GWG into a Ponzi scheme.

Eligibility

In order to be included in the lawsuit, you must have incurred a loss on shares of GWG Holdings, Inc., either: A) purchased or acquired during the class period listed above, if applicable; or B) pursuant to the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of GWG Holdings, Inc., if applicable.
