Regardless of the result, we will never ask you to directly pay for any attorneys' fees or costs. Should we obtain a favorable result, we may ask the court to award us compensation and reimbursement of expenses to be paid by the defendants or as a portion of any benefit, but we will never ask you to directly pay any of the costs of this litigation. As our client, you are entitled to direct the litigation in any way you deem proper, and may at any time order us to dismiss the case. Should you choose to do so, we will never ask you to reimburse us directly for any legal fees or expenses. During the course of this litigation, we may employ and/or work with other law firms to prosecute your case. If the Court does not appoint you as a lead plaintiff or you are not added as a plaintiff to a complaint filed in the action, then this retainer agreement and Levi & Korsinsky, LLP's representation of you will terminate automatically.

Allegations

(1) for the period spanning from 2015 to 2018, a senior Wirecard executive in Singapore had been accused of forging and backdating contracts, including falsifying accounts and money laundering; (2) an external law firm commissioned to investigate Wirecard’s Singapore office had reportedly found evidence of “serious offences of forgery and/or of falsification of accounts”; (3) Wirecard had downplayed weaknesses in its internal controls over financial reporting and failed to disclose the true extent of those weaknesses; and (4) as a result, defendants’ statements about Wirecard’s business, operations and prospects were materially false and misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis at all relevant times.

Eligibility

If you suffered a loss in during the relevant time frame, you have until April 09, 2019 to request that the Court appoint you as lead plaintiff. Your ability to share in any recovery doesn't require that you serve as a lead plaintiff.
